iAnnounce LogoiAnnounce provide community announcements (traditional births, deaths and marriages) online. As well as providing such data on their own site, their solution is “white-labelled” so that all the regional and weekly newspapers of the UK can use iAnnounce technology, to provide regionalised announcements to online readers in their’ communities.

theMediaFlow were hired by iAnnounce to review current organic search performance to identify if there was any room for improvement.

Within six weeks of implementing the changes recommended by theMediaFlow organic search traffic grew 18%, with Google traffic increasing at an even greater rate of 20%. It is worth noting that existing levels of organic search traffic were already considerable therefore a 20% increase post-recommendations is a very significant number in absolute terms.
