We use creative content marketing strategies to help grow businesses through search and social media.
What's the job?
We're looking for a digital designer to work within our content team to help produce compelling content for our customers. This might be creating data visualisations for infographics, microsites for campaigns, interactive games and beautiful, engaging long-form content. The designer will be working across a range of areas including travel, food and beverage, lifestyle, recycling and more and will need to be able to produce appropriate content for our clients' audiences and remain "on brand".
Who are you?
You're an experienced digital designer and this will preferably be your second or third role and you'll be keen to show your skills to new audiences. Degree education is not necessary to apply, though applications from graduates may be preferred. You'll need to be enthusiastic, driven and possess initiative in spades. Being active on social networks and really understanding the internet are essential. You'll need to be working closely with the rest of the content team, but be independent enough to get work done under your own steam as well.
Do you have the following abilities?
- Naturally Creative with a real flair for design - whilst retaining the brand identity/styles
- Experience in using appropriate digital design tools (Adobe suite etc)
- Ability to interpret and display data in compelling ways
- Have a wide experience of static and dynamic digital media
Key skills required:
- Frontend Web Design skills using HTML, CSS,
- An understanding of Responsive Design
- Cross browser/device compatibility, debugging/testing.
- PSD to HTML
What do you get?
You'll be joining a close knit team and working as part of a small, vibrant start-up. The initial salary for the role will be dependent on experience, qualifications, skills and portfolio but will be in the region of £18,000- £26,000 per annum. You'll get a say in what machine you get to use (let's face it, it's going to be a top of the range Mac) and the software and tools you'll need to do your job effectively. Once you've passed your probation there will be additional benefits, like attending conferences to learn and network with industry peers and thought leaders, there will be internal and external training available and a variety of team events and activities.
When do you start?
Tomorrow? Monday? As soon as you can. We should warn you though, where we're based in a wonderfully picturesque location, it's important that you have your own transport.
